I have been editing film and video with Avid Media Composer since 1989. Before that time, I edited film using a “Hot Splicer” and a razor blade, then used a “Movieola” to sync audio and film.

I am truly excited about Avid’s new Media Composer 8.3 software  This editing system will handle anything you give it from any source,  then export to any finishing system from TV to Blu-ray and the Internet.

The system will take SD or HD or 4k footage shot on any camera system. Whatever your vision is, this system will not only give you what you want, it will exceed your wildest dreams of the perfect edit. Some editing systems make you jump through hoops to get the result you are after. AVID laid out their system in a very logical way without financial constraints. The result is perfection in all aspects of the edit process.

We just added new G Raid Hard Drives to our system. These high speed drives are just what the new Avid Media Composer software need to operate at peak efficiency.

The next time you are getting ready to start a new project, give

We will show you the most cost effective way of turning your project into a finished film in the can.
